The Golden Gift Trust
Our Projects.
The Golden Gift Trust is currently operating counselling and food relief projects in Dublin. Food distribution to underpriviliged families and the homeless has taken place at various locations around the city including Ballyfermot, Tallaght, and central city locations. A pilot project is also being tested in Galway, with the aim of assisting students in need. The Golden Gift Trust hopes to expand its food relief work into rural areas in the near future, as research has suggested a need for such exists.
The mental health counselling work of The Golden Gift Trust is currently being revised and expanded. The charity aims to sponsor one to one counselling sessions to be offered in private homes. This will bypass the expense involved in renting specific premises from which to offer the services, while simultaneously providing those who use the services, the comfort, convenience and privacy of their own home.
To provide the above services, The Golden Gift Trust is conducting fundraising campaigns at street level, at various festivals and events, and via corporate solicitation.

Face to face street collections and fund raising at festivals and sports events
Corporate and business sponsorship requests
Online donations via this website (to be operational soon)

Project 2.
Permanent food distribution premises in Dublin.
The Golden Gift Trust to date has utilised temporary venues for its urban food relief efforts. This has been successful to some extent, however it has become obvious to us that the next stage requires us to lease more permanent premises in Dublin City. We hope to achieve this in the near future.

Project 3.
Systemizing our mental health counselling services
The mental health counselling services of The Golden Gift trust will be structured as face to face counselling sessions and courses to be offered in the clients home.
This will allow us increased outreach while minimizing expenses, and offering people the familiarity and privacy of their own home setting.
